A Short And Sweet FanView Review: Lil Raven

Ayo peeps! Were coming to you live off the desktop to bring your ears a little closer to the fly sounds of Lil Raven, a young singer/rapper at the age of 3hunna (thats what he'll tell you but he's really 21.) Just dropped a new song titled “Ape Shit” that's sure to get your head moving. While we get you boppin and jammin, we present to you your favorite part..... the Fanview review!

Coming out of Virginia, selling his families Xbox at the age of 13 so he could buy himself a microphone cause he knew who he was, Raven didn't start to really lay down the tracks until he turned homeless moving to Portland at the age of 17 to pursue his dreams while giving himself the name Raven cause he's so damn fly, Raven was just doing verses here and there for about $50 until he crossed paths with Lil Tracy. The way they met was pretty neat, while in a mall in the town Raven was living in he saw Tracy on the escalator and thought he looked flashy and fly so he had to go talk to him, which lead to a great friendship and a great wave of new music. It wasn't long before Raven and Tracy were in LA and associated with GBC (GothBoiClique). This is where the doors started opening while inspiring one another to make the beautiful sounds that they did, really something special. Tracy soon signed to GBC while Raven chooses to stay solo, but will always consider himself an associate of GBC, says it's a family. A while after that a name some of you may know came through the door and found inspiration in Raven, that name was Lil Peep. While Raven and Peep did become close friends, they didn't associate as much as they should have in the studio, where they collabed along with lil Tracy to make one great tune titled “oh”(link below to check it out)

LIL RAVEN x LIL TRACY-Ight

Though Raven has his own fly sound, he like everyone else was inspired by a hand full of people. He has given a list of his top 5 artists that gave him inspiration to music and it goes like this, Lil Wayne, Ja Rule, Lil B, Lil Raven and Lil Tracy. While inspired by some greats he says he gets the most inspiration from his friends and people that tell him he can't do it. You may agree with Raven and us when we say he can do it and he is.

Raven is currently living in LA where he is supposedly working on his new solo project that we are very excited to hear.
