There's just something about Sarah, AKA the Bishop Briggs. FanView got to meet with her for a couple of shows in LA and catch her live in action. We have a lot to say about her, she is an astounding singer and thats just the small part of what she brings to the world regarding music and art. We have followed her since day 1 and cannot get enough. She is the writer of most of her songs unless she has a helping hand of Dan Reynolds, lead of Imagine Dragons and LGBTQ missionary. She not only is pursuing her dream but does it with such a humble and selfless attitude. She is so down to earth and relatable even her twitter can prove that. Her performances can take someone a long way from depression and a bleeding heart. So now that we have explained a little about what she is to FanView and that is a queen, we want to show you what we mean.

(FanView clip of 'Lyin' played live at The Observatory in Santa Ana.)

"I was in chains, I was in fire, I was in deep, I was a liar, Dyin, Dyin for your love." One of her newer songs, 'Lyin' is so true lyrically and seeing it live is even more surreal. We think that she is the most passionate performer to breathe right now and we are not even being dramatic about that. She lets go like no other and stomps the ground like its an ex's set of teeth. Her arms flail in a way that is rhythmic and to the beat yet bears a sense of previous pains underneath. She is raw and sweet and we could go on about this woman for weeks.

If you haven't heard of her we suggest you leave now to find her first ever album, "Church Of Scars". Target has the hook up providing two extra bonus tracks that will bring you to your knees. We are not joking, if you pop in the 12th track while you're driving we suggest you to pull over immediately. You can't dance hard enough and drive at the same time, and we don't believe you can fight off the desire to move to the track remixed called, "Dream".

Friends that do not listen to her actively say that it seems like a lot of her stuff is on the radio, which is true to some extent. Alt stations blast "River" a solid amount but we have only heard "The Way I Do" a few times this year. Soon we can imagine every single track will be known to the world and that is something Bishop definitely deserves. Her music is going to be legendary, parents showing their kids about what she was and who she is.

Born in London and resident of Tokyo, Hong Kong and Los Angeles, she is the product of a culturally diverse family including a Scottish musically talented father figure. Bishop started writing at the ripe age of 7 and fell in love with the karaoke scene that her parents shared with her. She babysat kids until she could be the who she was born to be, a heartfelt individual that shows pure intent and love regarding other artists, LGBTQ, animals around the world, and shares her stances on making the world a better place in order to shed some light on important aspects in life. These aspects may be beyond her in some ways yet she isn't afraid to believe in something, speak up, and fight for it. Not only that but she encourages her fans and listeners to do the same creating a pact of people willing to change the places we live in for an equal and free life that everyone deserves. After she had moved to LA to attend the Musicians Institute College she ended up catching the eye of an A&R representative at one of her bars (where she would perform to 3-10 people) and then recorded her first single as Bishop Briggs, "Wild Horses". All up from there, it was only a matter of time before Bishop broke out into the world as one of the most talented musicians today. Briggs is nothing but a cherub from heaven brought down to shake our bones vocally and teach us more about love for they stranger and how to hone in on pain in the better ways. Through music and love we can change the world, FanView whole heartedly believes this and stands by Bishop in a way that is holy.

(Here are some more pictures and videos of the Queen herself.)
